Read IPL fixture times in the correct time zone

An IPL start time is useful only with its date and time zone. Compare those fields before adding a fixture to your plans.

Identify the displayed zone

A schedule may label times as IST or display a local time based on the viewer. Read the label near the fixture or schedule controls. A bare number such as 7:30 is ambiguous without AM or PM, date and time-zone context.

Account for date changes

When converting a time across regions, the calendar date may change too. As an illustrative planning rule, record the original listed time and zone before converting it. Do not assume a phone's clock setting matches the schedule's display.

Recheck before the match

Fixtures can be revised. Confirm the current date, venue and status on the competition website near the planned start. A promotional poster or saved screenshot is useful for recognition but should not be the final schedule authority.

A useful next step

Use the IPL page's competition link to confirm the fixture you intend to follow.
